You can not fight thoughts with thoughts

You must fight thoughts with words!

Picture thoughts as just flying around in your head.  Spinning around in there are your feelings of hopelessness, anxiety, self-doubt, and mental torment. This creates a whirlwind  of woe is me symptoms and emotions constantly spinning around and around.  They get mixed up  and become a doughy mess. These thoughts become the way you act, the way you view  and live your life. 

If the whirlwind in your head keeps  is full of  thoughts such as – I am sad, I am lonely, I am depressed… keep spinning;  this whirlwind soup will become dominant and can overtake happy thoughts.

You need to scrub them out!  To so this – external forces need to be applied! The scrub brush for your mind is your words! You must be determined to speak out!  IF you just try to think positively  the whirlwind will just whisk those positive thoughts up and dilute them in the sea of undesired thoughts. Declarations of change need to be spoken out loud!

When you say something out loud you are making the choice of what words you say. Your own ears hears  your positive affirmations and can establish barriers that can resist the whirlwind soup from A

Winning at bingo for your mind!

In bingo they have a machine that is filled with balls with numbers that swirl around and around like a whirlwind. Imagine if a ball would drop out the bottom when turned.   Picture the balls imprinted with the thoughts and symptoms that cause your mental torment and your fears.   If you have 50 swirling balls and 20 of them have the word anxiety on them and 18 have the word fatigue on them. What are the chances of your anxiety of extreme fatigue to be drawn???

Carefully chosen words when spoken out loud with determination carry much more weight than your random thoughts, like slightly weighted bingo balls.  When you make declarations, they carry more weight! Declarations of how you want to your life to be.  Throwing spoken words  into the bingo cage  gives you an edge of retrieving the more positive. You need to fill the bingo cage overwhelmingly with your positive declarations!

Some people call this self-talk it can help you focus on how you want to behave. It can help control our emotions when fear anger depression or anxiety come into play

You must approach this victoriously to help change your mindset so you will not be pulled into the garbage of your established whirlwind. For those with the mind for medical facts a 2014 study detailed how people with anxiety and social anxiety benefit in self-talk.  When you use overt speech  and declare positive beliefs the reinforcement helps you to take back control!      


Depression and Fatigue are a common symptom of many with mental torment.   

Others see and hear a person that often does not engage, they hear repeatedly things such as –  am so tired, I never get a break, nothing I try ever works, I cannot get anything done,….

Let’s say in one day you think or say something about your extreme fatigue 5 times per hour. In just an 8-hour day that would equal 40 times that you are reaffirming to yourself that you suffer from extreme fatigue! That would be 14,560 times a year! What if you have been experiencing this fatigue for 10 years. That is at least 145,600 times that you have of your fatigue. Add to this  yu hang around those who sympathize with you, or your media choices reinforces how you fell.

NO wonder many people try  to think positively for a week a month a few times per day it does not work. 

Remember the spoken word is more powerful than just random thoughts. First you must squelch anything spoken overtly about what you are trying to combat.

No longer will you use the words such as I am tired or fatigued.

Start upon waking with things you desire! Even if you can not completely own them.  

I went to bed early

I slep well

I am rested

I  smile and laugh when I start to feel challenged ( and then do so even if it is forced )

You need to override that whirlwind of negative thoughts by creating new mental pathways to create the new mindset, that supports the behavior you desire!

Lucky thing is that with determination you will NOT need  to do this 145,600 times to override your programing.

Write down your declarations of how you want to live, Craft them carefully  and never too long. To overcome that which is undesirable start to  READ THEM OUT-LOUD. As you start you may have to do this hourly!!!!!!!!! As you read they are rerouting their thoughts and are creating new mental pathways! People often memorize this list!   Repeat the declaration page anytime you find yourself starting to think say or do something you want to be free some.  Start and do not stop.

It can take 18 days to 254 days for people to form a new habit to create a new habit. Yes, that means you must be relentless with your declarations consistently. Realistically so what if it takes a couple of months. Breaking habits goes hand in hand with the establish  a new habit! The old habit becomes less and less dominant. It becomes easier and more in earnest to speak out your declarations.   Keep it up. Many people say I have tried that positive stuff and it did not work just remember you need to overcome a history of varied lengths be it  145,600 times, or just 450 times. With commitment I have seen some who start to respond in 4 months, 6 months, 9 months… Given what you now experience it is well worth the effort!


The battle for the victory of your mind cannot be fought by someone else.

Success or failure is not determined on your past, it is determined by your willingness to embrace the Lordship of Jesus and the victory that He already walked out for you.

When you are deceived to live in self-pity, you embrace demonic patterns of thinking that will eventually cause harmful impulsive decision-making.

Self-pity can actually cause the formation of an unwanted mindset. The deception to continuously meditate on self-centered, selfish, self- absorbed thoughts will actually create a pattern of thinking that will continue to enhance and grow the misery that you continually embrace through your thoughts. If your feelings drive you to have thoughts that are deceptive, then take authority over the initial thoughts that had the ability to cause you to have feelings that were based on lies.

Don’t give the demonic realm the right to pitch a tent in your mind. Demand that your thoughts line up with the word of God. Demand that any thought that does not line up with the word of God is cast out by meditating on the truth found in the word of God.
