As promised another view of how many of us feel isolated and all alone. We feel invisible. Today I will share excerpts from a friends book that was just released! I know of her past, her struggles, her growth and how she now helps and leads others to victory over life’s torments!

Excerpt from: Why This Book Is Needed
So many of us go through life thinking that we are alone, feeling scared and perhaps even wondering if anyone out there could possibly relate.
Stop wondering. Many individuals can relate. While the struggles they have gone through may be different, they are also remarkably similar in nature.
Have you ever felt so alone, and you did not think you were ever going to get through or even past the pain? Who did you talk to? Can you afford to go to counseling? Will your family help? Can you even trust anyone enough to share what is or has happened to you? Or have you burned so many bridges in the past it seems nobody wants to hear it or help?
How do you begin a healthy relationship without bringing the baggage of past hurts with you? How do I raise my children not to repeat the behavior they have seen?
Should I even get out of bed? Could someone love me knowing everything that has happened? Do you like who you see in the mirror?
While I do not even pretend to have all the answers, I pray that when you read this book, you get revelation to the questions above and even come to the realization that, I will get through this, I am strong, I am a survivor, I am an overcomer, I have a voice and I am so worthy of love.
This book is needed for one simple fact. Women who suffer tend to try to do it alone. Brokenhearted in silence while the pain consumes them emotionally, spiritually, and yes, even physically.
When a woman is strong in spirit, there is nothing she can’t accomplish.
We are warriors and even warriors get wounded, but how we deal with these wounds reflect whether we rise or submit to the wounds.
I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me.
Philippians 4:13 (KJV)
Again, this book is needed to encourage those individuals who are walking through some storms and who may need to know that He is there, He will strengthen you, and will get you through those storms.
Excerpt from: WHY I Do What I Do
I do what I do because there are still “broken little girls” wondering if there is hope and healing. So, to you, yes, there is. His name is above all names. Jesus
Excerpt from: Facing The Truth
Any relationship takes commitment from both parties. God never left my side; I left His side. I kept trying to “fix things” on my own. You can see how that worked out. Until I began to seek out time with my Creator there was an emptiness I felt. So now when these battles come, I know in my heart of hearts that I have an advocate with the Father thanks to Christ and His sacrifice for me. I pray, praise, worship and dance for my King and I feel and receive a refreshing. All healthy relationships require both individuals to give of themselves. I encourage you to do just that. He loves you and is waiting patiently with open and forgiving arms, big enough and loving enough to carry you through eternity.
Excerpt from: Anxiety and Depression
Now mind you, this was a process for me. Like I said, before that I had to trust. I had to renew my mind so that a transformation could take place. Before I knew it, I thought differently about the past hurts, abuse, self-loathing, doubts, and fears. I was no longer lying in bed or on the sofa with curtains drawn for days.
I was no longer relying on high doses of anti-depressants, which by the way for me had tremendous side effects. I found a renewed strength in Christ Jesus, a renewing of my spirit and flesh. I wake up now eager to spend time with God in His word studying and staring my day with His promises and hope. Hope in the scripture means a strong and confident expectation.
Therefore, with minds that are alert and fully sober, set your hope on the grace to be brought to you when Jesus Christ is revealed at his coming.
1 Peter 1:13 (NIV)
May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.
Romans 15:13 (NIV)
